William H. Mackie Jr, 73, of Ludlow, passed away of Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Son of the late William H. Mackie Sr and Blanche (Bonneville) Mackie, he was born in Springfield on February 4, 1952. Bill graduated from the former Springfield Trade High School and served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He worked as a pressman for many years.
Bill is survived by his son Bryan Mackie; his siblings Ty Mackie, Amy Buchanan (Bill) and Cher Mackie; his grandchildren Danielle Bergeron and Josh Hagen and his great-grandson Corbin. He also leaves his nephews Bryce Buchanan (Jen) and Brendan Buchanan (Laura Barrows) as well as his great niece and nephew Nova and Levi. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his wife Beverly (Goodreau) Mackie in 2016.
Bill will be sadly missed by his family.
