Wanda A. (Czupryna) Dore

Wanda A. (Czupryna) Dore 85 of Indian Orchard formerly of Ludlow died Friday September 2 in an East Longmeadow nursing home. Born in Wilbraham, MA September 25, 1925 daughter of the late Waldek and Anna (Lewek) Czupryna. A Communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Wanda had worked at Bradley’s Department Store for many years, in its jewelry department. She had also worked at the Lake Lorraine Beach for 11 years. She was a member of the Bradley’s retirees club, and was active at the Ludlow Senior Center. She loved her occasional trips to Mohegan Sun, and was an avid Boston Red Sox Fan, and can rest in peace knowing that the Red Sox finally won a World Series. She also loved to watch and listen to Jerry Remi and Don Orscillo, as they broadcast Red Sox Games. She was the widow of Harold J. Dore who died March 7, 1963, and Henry W. Dore who died March 30, 2005, and a Son Kevin Dore who died April 7, 1979. She is survived by her daughters Linda Hughes and her husband Russell of Springfield, Cynthia Musa and her husband Joseph of Green Cove, FL Judy Borrero and her husband Ruben of Indian Orchard, and Kathleen Nichols and her husband Daniel of Ludlow. A son Paul Dore and his wife Mary of Marion, VA her sisters Stella Cristina and Sophie Gagne of Ludlow. Grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 23. Also survived by a sister in law and best friend Mae Hicks of Ludlow, and extended family members and friends.
