Virginia M. (Artkop) Robidoux Mancini, 83, of Ludlow, MA passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 7, 2015. Born August 14, 1932, Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband Albert R. Mancini, 8 wonderful children; Linda A. Withington and her husband Miles of Enfield, CT; Barbara Jean Warga and her husband Richard of Oakdale. CT; Raymond A. Robidoux Jr. and his wife Denise of Somers, CT; Christine A. Basile and her husband Carl of Valatie, NY; Jeffrey B. Robidoux and his wife Doreen of Agawam, MA; Kelly A. Yee and her husband Ramon of Fairfield, CA; Joseph Robidoux and his wife Deborah of Somers. CT; and Steven K Robidoux and his wife Heather of East Longmeadow, MA. She also leaves four step-children; Michael Mancini; Suzanne Maynard, Tina Gebert and Joanne Scearce. Virginia was blessed with 26 grandchildren and 10 1/3 great-grandchildren and leaved many friends, especially the mahjong ladies. Virginia was retired from the Hartford, CT branch of the U.S. Postal Service. She was predeceased by her parents, Victor and Helen (Lewandowski) Artkop; her sister Barbara Oleskewicz; her brothers Conrad, Robert and Brian Artkop and her first husband Raymond A. Robidoux

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Virginia. She was very special to me as I was growing up, she always found time to make me feel important. I remember being mesmerized as I watched her put on makeup, and she would later teach me how do put it on myself. I know how important she was to so many, I know that her memory will live on in the hearts and memories of everyone that she touched. Death leaves heartache that no one can heal, Love leaves memories that no one can steal... with love, dina and family
Funeral services celebrating Virginias life will be held Friday, November 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall Street, Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in the Parish Community of St. Elizabeth, Hubbard St, Ludlow, MA. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
