Thomas E. Klimek 79 of Ludlow died Monday evening in Kindered Parkview Hospital. Born in Springfield, MA, July 11, 1933, son of the late Edward T. and Jennie (Walach) Klimek. An Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was employed as a telephone technician with New England Telephone, now known as Verizon. A Communicant of Christ the King Church, he was a member of it’s men’s guild. He was a past member of the Ludlow Polish American Citizens Club, and Post 275 of the American Legion. Tom served the Town of Ludlow as a member of the Ludlow School Committee. He was also a Friend of Bill W since 1984. Tom loved Boston spots teams, Crossword puzzles, Western novels and movies, he especially loved watching Tom and Jerry with his grandchildren Zack and Kacie. he was husband of the late Marjorie (Truchan) Klimek who died January 14, 2012. He is survived by his son Edward T. Klimek and his wife Kelly, and his daughter Karen Klimek all of Ludlow. Cherished grandfather of Zack and Kacie Klimek, Jenna and Kendra Glinka, and Brendan and Lauren Hiller. Also survived by extended family members and friends.

Funeral Services celebrating his life will be Friday, February 8, 2012, at 9 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Christ the King church at 10 AM Rites of committal will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
