Theodore W. Stebbins 82 of Ludlow, died Thursday, August 9, 2012, in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Ludlow, MA, April 2, 1930, son of the late Theodore W. Stebbins Sr and Etiennette (Lemieux) Stebbins. educated in local schools, he was a Communicant of the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth. He was a self employed painter with many years of service. He is survived by his loving children, Steven Stebbins of Ludlow, Roger Stebbins of CA, Thomas Stebbins of Chicopee, and John Stebbins of Westfield Linda Amaral of Ludlow and Denise Hart of South Hadley. Sadly he was predeceased by a daughter JoAnn Stebbins. Brother of Lena Chenevert of Ludlow, Alice Rollend of Springfield, Theresa Sideleau of Wilbraham, Christine Chenier of Ludlow Elizabeth Betty McCarthy, and Claire Mayou of Ludlow. He was predeceased by sisters Rita Rollend, Irene Spafford, and Juliette Stebbins. Grandfather of Anthony Amaral, Alexander Stebbins, Kristos Stebbins, Spencer & Rachel Hart, and Amber Hoague. Predeceased by grandson Nathan Stebbins. Great-grandfather of Billie Lee Stebbins.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at 8:45 AM followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial offered by the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth in St. John the Baptist Church at 10 AM. Rites of committal will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
