Stella S. (Kaczowka) Tetrault, 94, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Monday, August 1, 2016. Daughter of the late Kayton and Sophie (Mondry) Kaczowka, she was born February 17, 1922 in Springfield, MA. Educated in local schools, she was a longtime Ludlow resident. Stella was a member of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Ludlow where she served as a member of the Altar Society. More recently she was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Parish in Ludlow.
Stella is survived by her son Stephen Tetrault and his wife Linda of Ludlow; her daughter Linda Savage and her husband Tom of Middlebury, CT and her sister Amelia (Emily) Kaczowka of Wilbraham. She also leaves three beloved grandchildren Jeffrey Tetrault and his wife Consuela; Brian Tetrault and his wife Meg and Jennifer Tomich and her husband Theo. She also leaves her great-grandson Benjamin and several nieces and nephews. Sadly she was predeceased by her husband Arthur R. (Rene) Tetrault in 2008.
The family would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Wilbraham for their compassionate care toward Stella during her stay.
Funeral Services celebrating Stellas life will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 8:45 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Parish celebrated by Stellas nephew Msgr. Richard Sniezyk. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Berkshire Ave, Indian Orchard, MA
