Obituary

Sonja A. (Odzerieko) Waddell, 75 of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 13, 2016.  Daughter of the late Stanley and Gladys (Supzack) Odzerieko, she was born September 13, 1941 in Springfield, MA.  Educated in local schools, Sonja earned her Associates Degree in Pittsburgh, PA. She worked as a Phlebotomist at Baystate Medical Center for many years.

 

Sonja is survived by her son Donald Waddell Jr. and his wife Amy of Palmer and her daughter Cristina Goncalves and her husband Chris of Ludlow. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Cassandra, Ryan and Kyle. She also leaves her faithful companions Brandi, Mia and Coco. Sadly she was predeceased by her husband Donald Waddell Sr. in 1997.

Visiting hours at the funeral home are Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 8:30-9:30 AM.


Service Information

Funeral services celebrating Sonja’s life will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 9:30 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church at 10:00 AM.   Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Parker St, Springfield, MA.
