Obituary

Shirley L. (McGee) Postel, 82, of Ludlow passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.  Born in Hartland, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Enid (Robinson) McGee.  A longtime Ludlow resident, she worked as Office Manager for Pieroways.  She was a member of Union Church of Christ and active at the Ludlow Senior Center.

Shirley is survived by two daughters Debbie Slepecki and her husband Michael of Ludlow and Wendie Etter and her husband David of Feeding Hills and a brother Robert McGee of    FL.  She also leaved her beloved grandchildren Katie, Matthew and Sam as well as her great-granddaughter Melanie.  Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband Robert Postel in 2002 and her brother Clarence McGee.

Funeral Services for Shirley will be Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. Burial will be in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. Donations in Shirley’s memory may be made to the Friends of the Ludlow Senior Center/Building Fund, 37 Chestnut St., Ludlow, MA 01056.
