Obituary

Sherri A. (Brown) Duarte, 61, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born August 24, 1958 in Ashland, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Carole Brown and the late Richard Brown Sr.

In addition to her mother, Sherri is survived by her husband Robert Duarte of Ludlow, her sons Justin, Colton and Devin, her daughter Shauna and her husband Mike, her step-son Robert, her brother Richard Brown Jr. and was a Grandmother “Gramsy” to her 7 beautiful grandchildren Julia, Michael, Justin, John, Laila, Drew and Brayden. Sherri leaves behind many extended family and friends.

She grew up with a passion for dance and spent many years teaching tap, ballet and jazz at Charmaine School of Dance in Springfield. She enjoyed trips to Old Orchard Beach and watching bands with family and friends.  She was the heart of her home, giving anyone who stepped in a warm welcome, laughter and memories that could be shared for a lifetime.
