She was also a member of the “Chapman Group” of survivors who worked on the Manhattan Project seeking attention from government agencies relative to the many health issues that resulted from the working conditions in the various plants during World War II. She loved her parish of St. Elizabeth (St. John the Baptist) in Ludlow; where she was active for many years.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Rene, her brothers Donald, Roy, Owen and his wife Kathleen; her sisters Gertrude Mortimer and her husband Thomas and Lillian Jacquinet and her husband John.

I will miss you everyday grandma. Rest easy now. Thank you for always being there for all of us. The lessons you have taught will be paid forward to our children. Give gramps a squeeze from me. Until we meet again, I love you. Love always. Sean

My deepest sympathy to all of you. Your mother was a woman of great presence and character. She was beautiful on the outside AND on the inside. I will always cherish the many, many times I spent in her Ludlow home. May you forever smile when you think of your mom.
