Ronald R. Pineau

Ronald Pineau, 73, of Blue Hill, ME, formerly of Ludlow, MA, passed away peacefully at home from Alzheimer’s Disease on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Son of the late Roger Pineau and Doris Pineau (Bouchard), he was born in Chicopee, MA, on November 28, 1947. Ron was a graduate of Precious Blood High School. He went on to proudly serve his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era. He worked as a project manager for Desrosiers and Son for 25 years.                               .

Husband, father, Pepere, brother, uncle, friend and coach, you wouldn’t have found a better man. Ron made friends wherever he went. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and ability to make you laugh in any situation. The family would like to thank Edward Griffin and Northern Light Hospice for all of their help and support.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Marilyn Pineau (Strzepka) of Blue Hill, ME; his son Dustin Pineau and his wife Karen of Dennis, MA; his daughter Meredith Townsend and her husband Brian of Blue Hill, ME; his brother Thomas Pineau (Mary Jean) of Chicopee and his sister Claudette (Rick) Ford of Randoph, MA. He also leaves his four beloved grandchildren: Jaryd, Jordyn, Logan, and Bailey, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visiting hours for Ron will be Monday, August 9, 2021 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Kapinos –Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Elizabeth’s Parish, Hubbard St., Ludlow, MA. Rites of Committal with Military Honors will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee, MA. Donations in Ron’s memory may be made to St. Elizabeth’s Parish, 181 Hubbard St., Ludlow, MA 01056.
