Roland C. Miller 84 of Pine St. died Saturday June 11 at home. Born in Dudley, MA March 12, 1927 son of the late Charles and Sophie (Kokocinski) Miller. He was a graduate of Bartlett High School of Webster, MA Class of 1944, a Boston University Graduate Class of 1951 and received his Masters Degree from Westfield State College. Roland proudly served his county during World War II serving in the United States Navy. He worked as an educator, having taught in Wilmington, VT Webster, MA and retired from the City of Springfield where he taught at Central High School. He was a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association, and the Retired Educators of Massachusetts. He was a Communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church. He is survived by his wife Irene (Vivier) Miller, his sons Charles Miller and his wife Marcy of Dennville, NJ and Robert Miller of Ludlow. A sister Charlotte Brisbois of Colorado Springs, CO. Cherished grandfather of Alexa and Ian Miller. Uncle of Judith Brisbois, and Linda Hollis and her husband Warren. Also survived by extended family members and friends.

Funeral Services Celebrating his life will be Tuesday June 14, 2011 with family and friends gathering at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow at 9 AM. Followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial offered by the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth in St. John the Baptist Church 181 Hubbard St Ludlow at 10 AM Msgr. Homer P. Gosselin will preside.
