Obituary

Roland A. Laurin 90 of Ludlow died Saturday February 19 in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Springfield October 13, 1920 son of` the late Benjamin and Rose Alma (Vieu) Laurin. Roland was a member of the Indian Orchard Post of the American Legion, and a Communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Ludlow, now a member of the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth. Roland was the owner operator of Laurin Industries. he was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Chicopee. His first wife Alda (Gaudreau) Laurin predeceased him. He is survived by his current wife Brenda L. (Barton) Laurin, a daughter Susan A. Laurin of Ludlow, and a son Raymond J. Laurin. Grandfather of two. Also survived by extended family members and friends.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be Thursda February 24, 2011 at 11 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow Msgr. Homer P. Gosselin will preside. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
