Roger J. Davies

Roger J. Davies 82 formerly of Miller St. Ludlow died Wednesday November 13, 2013 in the care and comfort of his home. Born in Ludlow, MA June 11, 1931 son of the late Russell and Parmelia (Raymond) Davies. Educated in local schools, he proudly served his Country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Marine Corps. As his professional career, Roger was a machinist and then a manufacturing engineer with Titeflex Company of Springfield with over 40 years of service. He was a member of the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth, and had served the parish as an Eucharistic Minister. He was a lover of soccer, and was a coach with Ludlow Soccer Association, was an avid golfer and a member of the Titeflex golf league. Roger also loved gardening. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Harriet (Bradway) Davies. His 4 sons and their wives, Brian Davies and his wife Patricia of Acton, MA Deacon Keith Davies and his wife Paula of Ware, MA Todd Davies and his wife Eva of Monson, MA and Glenn Davies and his wife Jill of Colmar, PA. Cherished grandfather of Aaron, Amanda, Alanna, Evan, Ian, Natalie, Aileen, Michelle, and Christine. Also survived by extended family members and friends. Sadly he was predeceased by brothers Donald and Richard Davies.
