Roger B. Decker, 76, of Ludlow passed away on Monday, December 6 2021. Son of the late Marguerite (Bacon) Decker and Roland Decker, he was born in Ludlow on August 24, 1945. A lifelong resident, Roger graduated from Ludlow High School. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Upon his discharge from the Army, Roger earned his Associates Degree from Holyoke Community College and his Bachelor’s from UMass. He went on to work for several local companies including Mastex/Baystate Mills where he was elected to serve as union president. Roger enjoyed travel and the outdoors, especially hiking, sailing and skiing in Europe and Canada.
Roger is survived by his brother Jeffrey Decker and his wife Jolynn of Winsted, CT.
Rites of Committal with Military Honors will be Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Main St., Agawam, MA.
