Roberta “Annette” (St. Jean) Bennet, 89, of Ludlow, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Daughter of the late Origene and Irene (Tromblay) St. Jean, she was born in Holyoke on May 29, 1935. A graduate of Precious Blood High School, Annette was a resident of Ludlow for over 60 years. She worked for the Ludlow School Lunch program for over 25 years, retiring in 1994. Annette’s greatest joy was cooking and feeding her family and friends. She also loved visiting friends at the Cape.
Annette is survived by her daughters Roberta Duffy (Jim) and Edie Chenevert (Rich), both of Ludlow; her daughter-in-law Linda Bennet of Ludlow; her nephew Kevin Butler (Julie) of Wilbraham; her sisters Lucille Sennett of CA, Patricia Hortie, Suzanne Counter and her brother Edmund “Skip” St. Jean (Diane), all of Chicopee and her special cousin Janie Scott of NC. She also leaves her 9 beloved grandchildren Stephanie, David, Nicholas, Anthony, Meghan, Caitlin, Nathan, Trisha and Ryan and her 3 great-grandchildren Savannah, Cheyenne and Bryce, as well as several nieces and nephews. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband David G. Bennet Jr. in 2014, her sons David G. Bennet III in 2001 and Stephen Bennet in 2020,
Visiting hours for Annette will be Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 9:30-11:00 AM. A funeral home service will be at 11:00 AM followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
