Obituary

Robert (Bob) Rich, 84, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2015 with his adoring wife Dorothy (Dottie) by his side. Born March 6, 1931, he was the son of the late Carl and Rose (Bousquet) Rich.

Bob proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was self-taught jazz musician during his younger years, carrying that on through middle age; he continued to love listening to jazz music during his final years. He was a self-employed Printer, managing his business for nearly fifty years. He enjoyed camping and being outdoors. He particularly loved and fed the birds that visited him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make people laugh. He loved his dogs Daisy and Ko-Ko, spoiling them with affection. He was devoted husband to Dottie for twenty-six years.

Bob is survived by his wife Dottie, her children Dana Nogueira (Gilbert) of Ludlow; Donald Sady (Beth) of NY, David Sady (Grace) of Palmer, his children Richard Rich (Ana) of Chicopee; Robert Rich (Patty) of NY; Karen OToole (Jim) of Monson and Kim Terranova of Chicopee. He also leaves his sister Virginia Giaquinto and her husband Robert and a sister-in law Pamela Rich; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Sadly Bob was predeceased by his brother Alan Rich
