Obituary

Richard J. Ziemba, 74, of Ludlow, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019. Son of the late Walter and Laura (Bobowiec) Ziemba, he was born in Ludlow on July 16, 1944. A graduate of Cathedral High School, Richard proudly served as a member of the U.S. Navy, aboard the USS O’Bannion during the Vietnam War. He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 40 years. Richard was a devout communicant of Christ the King Church.

Richard is survived by his brother Robert Ziemba of Southwick, his nephew Mark and nieces Allison, Alyssa and Monica. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister Nancy Giza and niece Lora Jo Giza-Bilodeau.
