WILBRAHAM – Nellie S. (Wrubel) Nowakowski 92 of 2387 Boston Rd. Wilbraham, former longtime Calkins Road Palmer resident died Sunday April 6, 2008. Born in the Three Rivers Village of Palmer, MA she was a communicant of Saints Peter & Paul Church, and had worked for Phelon Industries of Wilbraham for many years. She was the widow of Peter Nowakowski who died in 1993. She is survived by her children, Robert Nowakowski and his wife Martha of Ludlow, MA and Carol Marek and her husband John of East Hartford, CT
sister of Stephen Wrubel of CA and Emily Korzeniowski of Westfield, MA she was predeceased by her brothers Louis and Edward Wrubel and sisters Catherine Seidur and Stephanie Smola. Grandmother of John Marek, Lisa Lodge, Greg Nowakowski, Kristi Nowakowski and Scott Nowakowski. Great-grandmother of Michael, Ryan and Steven. Also survived by many extended family members.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be Thursday April 10, 2008 at 10:30 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Assumption Church 465 East St. at 11 AM Rites of committal will be at 2:30 PM in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
