Nancy J. (Downie) Kenyon, 72, of Ludlow, passed away at home with her children by her side on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Daughter of the late Albert and Jeannie (Martin) Downie, she was born in Ludlow on August 3, 1952. A lifelong resident in the home she passed besides just a few years in between, she was a 1972 graduate of Ludlow High School and a member of Evangelical Covenant Church in Indian Orchard.
She worked at several jobs including as a homemaker for a family for 10 years. She also owned a business doing housecleaning for well off clients, worked as a newspaper delivery person and owned a laundromat in Belchertown for8+ years. She also worked as Manager of Classic CoinOp. She was a Scheduler for Avid Assisted Living and a caretaker at Home Care for Seniors.
Nancy was married once and predeceased by her ex-husband Edgar Kenyon. She is survived by her children Amanda Kenyon of Ludlow and Albert Kenyon and partner David Ribeiro of Chicopee, her brother Robert Downie of North Brookfield and her grandchildren Elaine Canary-Bracci, Robert Canary and James Spencer. In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her brother David Downie.
