Michael P. Murray, 58, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. Born in Ludlow on July 27, 1962, he was the son of Sandra (Lee) and Kelly Murray. Michael was a graduate of Classical High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from UMass. Michael was a dedicated teacher for many years, most recently at Milton Academy. He was fluent in Mandarin and traveled to China several times. He also loved music and taught himself how to play the guitar.
In addition to his mother Sandra Murray, Michael is survived by his sons Paul Murray and Lee Murray as well as his sister Jo-Ann Green.

I was sorry to read of Micks passing. I knew him as a friend of my son Lee ( who died in 2014). Lee enjoyed their time together and considered him one of his best friends at Classical High School.
