Michael H. Luszcz, 50, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind many who loved him. He grew up in Ludlow, raised by his beloved grandmother, Babci, whom he held dear to his heart. Michael graduated from Ludlow high School and was an active member of Christ the King Church in his youth, serving as an altar boy and playing on the parish baseball team.
After high school, Michael enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he rose to the rank of sergeant and completed a tour in Iraq. Serving his country was one of his greatest honors and he took immense pride in being a Marine. He also served for a time as a correctional officer with the Hampden County Sherrif’s Department, a role he approached with dedication and pride.
Michael will be deeply missed by his loved ones. He is survived by his son Michael (“Mikey”), his brother Danny and his father Henry F, Luszcz. He was predeceased by his mother Mary Pawlin. He is also mourned by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rites of Committal with full U.S. Marine Corps Military Honors will be held Monday, May 5, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Mian Street, Agawam, MA. Family and friends are invited to attend.
