Michael C. Vigneault, 42, of Pflugerville, TX, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2021 surrounded by his family after an 8 year battle with cancer. Son of the late Harold (Butch) Vigneault and Silvia (Herrera) Vigneault, he was born in Springfield, MA on December 17, 1978. Michael attended Ludlow Public Schools until he relocated to Texas with his parents in 1992. A graduate of Anderson High School in Austin, TX, he worked for many years as a sales associate for Friendly Car Care and the last year at 4 Wheel Parts in Austin, TX. Michael loved to pass time playing his guitar, hanging with friends and family while drinking beer and listening to live music. He treasured trips back to Ludlow where he could reconnect with family.
In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by his brother Steven Vigneault and his partner Lori of East Longmeadow; his sister Lynn Pollard and her husband Jim of Ludlow; nieces Rachel and Amanda; nephews Justin, Colin, David, Kyle and Connor as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves his fur baby,Vrabel aka: Wolfy. He was predeceased by his father Harold Vigneault and brother Matthew Vigneault.
Funeral services for Michael will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. Visiting hours at the funeral home will precede the service from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to Compassus at 1717 N. IH35, Suite 130, Round Rock, TX 78664.
