Maurice M. Gallant 72 died Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Born in Springfield, MA in July 3, 1941 he was the son of the late Marcel and Frances (Holmes) Gallant.
A graduate of Holyoke High School, Maurice proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. Among his many jobs, Maurice worked as a computer operator for St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish in Ludlow.
Maurice is survived by his wife Anne (Lamothe) Gallant; three sons Michael Gallant of Springfield,Thomas Reed of MD and Sean Reed; a brother Laurence Gallant and a sister Darlene Donaghue. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Gallant.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrating Maurices life will be held Friday, June 13 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth at St. John the Baptist Church, Hubbard St, Ludlow, MA. Rights of Committal will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Springfield
