Maureen A. (Colby) Gaumond, 80, of Ludlow, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018. Daughter of the late Maurice and Prudence (Martel) Colby, she was born in Exeter, NH on July 28, 1938. She was a graduate of Charlton High School and attended the University of New Hampshire. Maureen worked for American Optical, the Hitchcock Assoc., the Colorado Springs Children’s Rehab Center, the Colorado Springs Assessors Office, the former 3rd National Bank and Buchholz Sign Company. She also served as an Election Officer in Ludlow. Maureen was a talented oil painter, loved camping at Beaver Tail in Jamestown, RI. Her greatest joy was working with children and time spent with her family and grandchildren.
Maureen leaves her beloved husband of 58 years Ronald Gaumond of Ludlow; her son Daniel Gaumond and his wife Sharon of Valrico, FL; her daughter Rhonda LaViolette of Williamsburg, VA; 3 sisters Patricia Taylor of Charlton, MA; Sandra Bowman of Coos Bay, OR and Martha Kolios of Apex, NC. She also leaves her 3 beloved grandchildren Zoe, Sydney and Jon
