Mary (Opalinski) Schott, 100, of Wilbraham passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Daughter of the late Jacob and Katherine (Pabis) Opalinski, she was a lifelong Wilbraham resident.
Educated local schools, Mary worked for the former Westinghouse Manufacturing Co. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Indian Orchard.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Theodore Schott in 1983 and her siblings Mitchell J. Opalinski, Julia Szczebak, Helen Makuch, Jenny Dygon, Stacia Malzenski and Anna Cieplik. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 AM.
Funeral Services celebrating Mary’s life will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, Parker St., Indian Orchard, MA. Rites of Committal will be in St Aloysius Cemetery, Berkshire Ave, Springfield, MA.
