Mario D. Rodrigues

Mario D. Rodrigues, 89, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2019.  Born in Montelegre, Portugal on October 8, 1930 he was the son of the late Luis and Ana (Gomes) Rodrigues. Mario worked in the construction field for many years.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a devout communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church.

Mario is survived by two sons Guilherme (Bill) Rodrigues and his wife Maria and Manuel Rodrigues and his wife Elizabete both of Ludlow and a daughter Rosa Santos and her husband Max of Myrtle Beach, SC and a sister Judite Pereira of Portugal.  He also leaves his 5 grandchildren Daniel Dias and his wife Krystyna; Kristy Destapado and her husband Hugo, Amy Fillion and her husband Todd, Tracy Rodrigues and Mario Rodrigues, as well as 7 great-grandchildren Victoria, Nathan, Noah, Tiago, Andre, Hannah and Tyler.  Sadly he was predeceased by his beloved wife Maria Rodrigues on July 1, 2019 and his granddaughter Alicia Rodrigues in 2009.

Visiting hours for Mario will be Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 8:45-10:15 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church.  Burial will follow in Island Pond Cemetery.
