Mario D. Oliveira, 62, of Ludlow, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Born in Valdanta, Chaves, Portugal on May 27, 1963, he was the son of Andre Oliveira and Julia Natario Dias. Mario worked as a truck driver for C&A Construction for many years. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and his beloved Benfica soccer club.
In addition to his parents, Mario is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Sofia (Alves) Oliveira; his sons Steven Oliveira (Ashley); Daniel Oliveira (Jessica) and Brandon Oliveira (Rebecca) and his siblings Alexandre Oliveira and Milu Oliveira. He also leaves his 5 grandchildren Santino, Rafa, Hugo, Hazel and Roman.
The family gives a special “thank you” to the Sister Caritas Cancer Center and to Beacon Hospice for their care of Mario.
A Christian Funeral Mass for Mario will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Winsor St., Ludlow, MA. Please meet directly at church. There are no calling hours.
