Madeline G. (Furano) Roberts 82 of Ludlow died Wednesday June 29, 2011 in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Geneva, NY April 21, 1929 daughter of the late Louis and Genevieve (Capozzi) Furano. Madeline had been the head of the Langley Air Force Base NCO Club for many years, she was later a waitress at Princess Parlor, and most recently been a waitress at Joy’s Restaurant in Ludlow for many years. Maddy was also an active member of the Ludlow Senior Citizen’s Center. She was the widow of James L. Roberts who died in 1978. She is survived by her daughter Michele Augusto of Ludlow, her cherished granddaughters Ashley Augusto and Sara Zwicker, and a brother Donaldd Furano of The Villages, Florida.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours Thursday June 30 from 5-7 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow. It was Madeline’s wish that funeral services with Rites of Committal in Island Pond Cemetery be private.
