Obituary

Natalee (Rice) Mulhern. 90, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 30, 2018. Daughter of the late Hobart and Marie (Swan) Rice, she was born in Barre, MA on March 7, 1928. She was a graduate of Barre High School and Becker Jr. College.  She worked as an executive secretary at the former Shawmut Bank for many years.

Natalee is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years John W. Mulhern of Ludlow, two sons Devin J. Mulhern and his husband Glenn Mallinson of Marlborough, MA; Paul W. Mulhern and his wife Lynn of Dracut, MA, a daughter Anita M Chmura and her husband Jeffrey of Chicopee and her son-in-law Brian Barch of Ludlow.  She also leaves her grandsons Kyle and Ryan Barch and Christopher Chmura.  Sadly she was predeceased by her daughter Pamela Barch in 2010 and her sisters Caroline Ibelle and Asenath Morell.

Visiting hours at the funeral home will precede the service on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 AM.


Service Information

Funeral Services celebrating Natalee’s life will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA. Internment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Mausoleum, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Springfield, MA.


Donation Information

Natalee’s family requests that, in lieu of flowers or gifts, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter, 264 Cottage St., Springfield, MA 01104.

Anita, Jeffrey & Christopher, We are terribly sorry to hear of your dear loss. Losing a loved one is never easy. Be comforted in your loving family memories and the joyous times you've all shared over the years.
