Lora-Jo Giza-Bilodeau, 46, of Ludlow passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 22, 2018. Born in Springfield on October 20, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Nancy Giza. A lifelong resident, she was a graduate of Ludlow High School and American International College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Lora-Jo is survived by her loving soulmate for 33 years and husband of 17 years, William A. Giza-Bilodeau; three children Kyle Giza, Jaiden Giza-Bilodeau and Makia Giza-Bilodeau all of Ludlow. She also leaves her brother Mark Giza of Hampden and her sister Monica Gagnon of Bradenton, FL, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Sadly, in addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son William Giza-Bilodeau Jr. in 2007.
Lora-Jo was a gift to the world of performing arts as a talented actress and dancer and had many loves in life. Her career in Counseling and Social work dictated her compassion for those less fortunate, and even extended her caring ways to any bird or squirrel or animal that she felt needed a “treat”. But her greatest love was that of Motherhood; a badge she proudly wore with extreme honor. A beautiful woman who touched countless lives; she will truly be missed.

The first time that I met Lora it was the early 80's and she was dressed like Cyndi Lauper. I instantly liked her and she didn't hesitate to take her boyfriends little sister under her wing. She became a staple in our lives and the relationship that she and Bill had was an example that was highly regarded by me. She was a vivacious woman whose energy and smile were infectious. Her presence is and will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace my friend. ?
