Linda (Saloio) Bush

Linda (Saloio) Bush 65 of Marion,NY died peacefully with family at her side at the Palliative Care Unit of Strong Hospital. Born in Ludlow, MA she was the daughter of Jose Saloio and the late Stella (Chrusciel) Saloio. Educated in local schools, Linda graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in education and a Masters degree from the University of Michigan. She taught piano for over 30 years and at one time had over 35 students. Linda had taken piano lessons herself at the Eastman School of Music. She was the accompanist for over 20 years with the Marion Elementary School Chorus. Linda had also served as a member of the Marion Central School Board. In her free time she loved be in her flower garden and was an avid golfer. She is survived by her adoring husband of 36 years Rick, A son Jeffery Bush and his wife Amber, a daughter Lesley Bush, her father Jose Saloio, grandchildren Sophie and Stella. Also survived by a sister Jody Milbier, a brother Jose Saloio Jr. and his wife Cheryl. A sister in law Nancy and her husband Donald. Also survived by nieces, Lori Milbier, Kim Milbier Hannah Saloio, and nephews l, Samuel Saloio and Jack Saloio. Also survived by extended family members and friends
