Lillian 'Chick' (Pease) Mitchell

Lillian Chick (Pease) Mitchell 89 of Center St. Ludlow died Friday, October 19, 2012, in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Ludlow, MA, November 27, 1932, daughter of the late Isabelle (Ashwell) and Walter A. Pease, Sr. Educated in local schools she was a member of the First Church in Ludlow. She was a 75 year member and Past Master of the Ludlow Grange and was active in many Grange programs, and had been chairwoman of the Grange Fair She had worked at the Carolina Restaurant, the former Kressages Department Store, and for Monsanto Chemical Co.. Lillian was a cub scout den mother, and a member of the Ludlow Gridiron Moms. She will long be remembered as a talented baker, and for her love of crafts. She was the widow of David Chuck Mitchell who died February 27, 2005. She is survived by his loving children Joyce Bouchard and her husband Rick and Wilbraham, Dale Shelton and her husband Terry of Ludlow, David Mitchell Jr. of NH, Jerry Mitchell and his friend Gail of Ludlow, and Guy Mitchell and his friend Halina of Ware. Adopted daughter Debbie Theodore and her children Kristy, BG, and Heather. Cherished grandmother of Cory Chapdelaine and husband Rocky, Heather Savage and her husband Mike, David Mitchell and his wife Becky, Rich Bouchard Jr. and his wife Becky, William Bouchard, and Jackie Miarecki and her husband Gary. Great-grandmother of Abigail, Emily, Benjamin, Taylor, Megan, Luke, Seth, Gavin and Cameron. Sister of Carl Pease of NY, and sister in law of Fannie (Brockway) Pease of Ludlow. Also survived by many nieces and nephews extended family members and friends.
