Leon T. St. Pierre

Leon T. St. Pierre 69 of East St. Ludlow died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Springfield November 21, 1942, son of the late Leon J. and Mary W. (Marchant) St. Pierre. Having lived in Taunton, MA, he was a 1960 graduate of Coyle High School, he then proudly served his country in the Army of the United States attaining the rank of SP4 and E4. he later continued his educating and was a 1969 Graduate of Western New England University. He served the Town of Orleans, MA, and a police office from 1974-1978. Most recently he was the office manager for King Information Systems. He was a Communicant of the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth, and Avid New York Yankees Fan and Colts Fan. He loved riding his Harley whenever he had the chance, and enjoyed air shows. He truly enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Betty (Jones) St. Pierre, a son Leon D. St. Pierre and his wife Angela of Winsor Locks, CT Daughters Emily Delisle and her husband Mark of Easthampton, MA, and Elaine St. Pierre of Ludlow, MA a sister Janet St. Pierre of Ludlow and his cherished grandchildren, Leon C., Tessa, Raegan, Ryen, Alora, Samantha, and Charles. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. Funeral services Celebrating his life will be Saturday, June 9, 2012, with family and friends gathering at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow at 8:45 AM followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial offered by the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth in St. John the Baptist Church at 10 AM Msgr.
