Lena M. (Lopenzo) Davis, 73, of Ludlow, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Born in Springfield on September 7, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Fiore and Ada (Casagranda) Lopenzo. After graduating from Cathedral High School, she went on to study at Traghagen School of Fashion in NYC and later worked as a fabric and pattern maker. As Lena took on the role of wife and mother, two roles she cherished above all else, she cemented herself as the heart and soul of her family. She was always ready to entertain, whether it was a small group stopping by or a house full during a holiday, where her eye for design showed in her always perfect decorations. Lena loved spending time with her family and friends, telling stories, playing cards and tending to her gorgeous garden. She was a communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Ludlow and St. Cecilia Parish in Wilbraham.
Lena is survived by her husband of 50 years Wayne Davis; her daughter Melissa Thouin and her husband Jason. She also leaves her aunts Nancy Pinkston, Anna May Casagranda and Doris Casagranda, as well as her goddaughter Michelle Mathieu-Scott, several cousins and close friends.
