Obituary

Keith R. Hobbs, 77, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2016.  Son of the Phillip and Autis (Dickinson) Hobbs, he was born March 22, 1939 in Caribou, ME. Keith was a graduate of Caribou High School in 1958 and Ricker College in 1960.

 

Keith was employed by Hamilton-Standard for many years. An avid outdoorsman, many of Keith’s happiest times were spent hunting with family and friends in Maine.

 

Keith is survived by his wife Marcia (Mowry) Hobbs of Ludlow; three sons Keith R. Hobbs Jr. and his wife Marcia of Wilbraham, Dr. Randy Hobbs of Lake View, NY, Anthony Scalia of Davenport, FL, a daughter Karen Joseph and her husband Thomas of Monson ; and his former wife Blanche Hobbs. He leaves four beloved grandchildren Nicholas, Alex and Brian Joseph and Keith Hobbs III .He was predeceased by three brothers Donald, Dale and Albert Hobbs. He leaves two brothers Wayne Hobbs of Washburn, ME, Phillip Hobbs Jr. of Coventry CT. and many nieces and nephews

Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 2:00 PM until the time of the service


Service Information

Funeral Services celebrating Keith’s life will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 3:00 P. M. at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA.  Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family


Donation Information

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of the Ludlow Senior Center, 37 Chestnut St., Ludlow, MA 01056 or the Ludlow Fire Dept, Ambulance Fund, 574 Center St, Ludlow, MA
