Keith A. Plant Sr.

Keith went to be with the Lord and his loving wife, Marlene (Robitaille) Plant on January 13, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Keith’s willingness to live is what we remember as he fought long and hard against the illness that had overcome him.

Besides his wife, Keith was predeceased by his mother, Shirley (Carlson) Torres, and his father, Richard Dale Plant.

Keith leaves behind his three children, Bonnie (Plant) Inserra and her husband TJ, Richard Plant, II, and Keith Plant, Jr and his wife Heather. He loved and admired all six of his grandchildren, Kelly, Anthony & Alessandra Inserra, Shane & Jaidon Plant, and Richard Plant, whom he raised as his own son. His Mother, Dorothy Plant, Sisters, Deborah (Plant) Herdendorf and her husband Richard, Ruth (Plant) Moorhouse and her husband Dean, and Marguerite (Plant) Davis. He also leaves behind his Godchildren, Dana (Herdendorf) Lareau and her husband Ray, and Christopher Robitaille and his wife Jenna, special cousins, Jan Chase and her son, Eric (Eggy) Chase, who he also mentored and guided throughout his life; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, sister and brothers-in-law.

Keith will be remembered for not only serving his country in the United States Air Force, but also an avid member of the scouting community for over 30 years, serving many of those years as a Shooting Director and Scout Leader of the Horace A Scout Reservation, Russell MA with The Boy Scouts of America. One of his proudest moments was watching his son, Keith become an Eagle Scout.

Keith was also a family man, wearing many hats, as husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and Godfather. He was a mentor for many of his younger family members, always there for anyone who needed him, a kind soul, who loved to smile and always had a listening ear.
