Kathleen M. (Saletnik) Wilcox 70 of Blisswood Village Dr. died Sunday May 29, 2011 in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Ludlow September 6, 1940 daughter of the late Peter & Jennie (Gouvin) Saletnik. Educated in local schools, she had worked as a telephone operator for Westover Air Force Base with many years of service. She was a Communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish. Kathleen’s family wishes to thank the entire staff of Heritage Hall-East Nursing Home for their care, and comfort they have provided during Kathleen’s stay there. She is survived by her husband Richard D. Wilcox, a son Richard D. Wilcox Jr. and his wife Karen of Wilbraham, a daughter Denise M. Manganaro and her husband John of Ludlow. Grandmother of Dwight Manganaro, Giana Manganaro, and Collin Wilcox. Sister of Barbara J. Hurst of Ludlow, and the late Paul Saletnik.

Service Information

Funeral Services Celebrating her life will be Saturday June 4 at 8:30 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial offered by the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth in St. John the Baptist Church 191 Hubbard St. Ludlow at 9 AM. Msgr. Homer P. Gosselin will preside. Rites of Committal will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
