Obituary

June E. (Mason) Flannery, 90, of Springfield, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at home.  Daughter of the late Eugene and Aldea (Petrin) Mason, she was born June 2, 1926 in Greenfield, MA.  Educated in local schools, June was a devout communicant of Christ the King Parish in Ludlow.

June is survived by 2 sons Paul T. Flannery and David T. Flannery; 5 daughters Anne E. Welz, Jane P. Leydet, Mary E. Flannery, Margaret M. Buchholtz and Barbara A, LaBrec as well as her niece Sr. Barbara Faille. June also leaves 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Paul W. Flannery in 2014; her daughters Martha Goodrow in 1989 and Frances Flannery in 1965, her brother Eugene Mason and her sister Doris Paradise.

Service Information

Funeral services for June will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 9:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Church, Warsaw Ave, Ludlow, MA.  Rites of Committal will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, State St, Springfield, MA
