June Ann (Gamache) Vigneault was granted her angel wings on Monday, December 12, 2016. Her final days were spent at home surrounded by her loving family. Her suffering ended, June’s love will forever live inside all whose lives she touched. She was a wonderful mom, meme, sister, friend and a very strong woman.
Daughter of the late Ovila Gamache and Florence Gamache Mazzollini, she was born in Holyoke on June 28, 1940. A longtime Ludlow resident, she was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish.
June is survived by her sons Glenn P. Vigneault (Sandee Belle-Isle) of Ludlow, MA; Todd C. Vigneault (Lisa) of VA and her daughter Kim E. Vigneault of Ludlow, MA; her brothers Richard Gamache of Midlothian, VA and Alan Lesniak of Chicopee, MA and her sisters Florence Tougas of Clearwater, FL and Lynn Shaughnessy of East Wareham, MA. June also leaves her beloved grandchildren Amber and Cory who helped care for her during her final months, Devin, Jenna, Carson, Cooper and her great-grandson and buddy Liam. Sadly she was predeceased by her husband Leo P.Vigneault, daughter Lisa Ann Vigneault (James Taylor), brother Paul Gamache and sister Ann Irwin.
June’s family would like to extend a special thank-you to Dr. Kevin Epstein, Baystate Palliative Care/Hospice and the VNA nurses and health aides for the wonderful care they gave to June.

Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Monday, December 19, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 AM.
Services celebrating June’s life will be held Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth’s Parish. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Berkshire Ave, Springfield, MA
Donations in June’s memory may be made to Shriner’s Hospital, 516 Carew St, Springfield, MA 01104 or St. Jude’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the charity of one’s choice.
