Joseph J. Jablonski, 86, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2019 surrounded by his family. Son of the late John and Genevieve (Merrtikoski) Jablonski, he was born October 15, 1932 in Warrior Run, PA. A longtime Ludlow resident, he worked for many years as a Millwright for the local mills. He attended Christ the King Church in Ludlow. Joseph was a loving husband and father whose greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Sadly he was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline Jablonski in 2003. Joseph is survived by his sons Robert Jablonski and his wife Coleen of Springfield, Joseph M. Jablonski and his wife Jacqueline of Ludlow and his daughter Ann Marie Wells of Ludlow; his sisters Josephine Moore of Ludlow, Theresa Rood and Helen Besner both of Florida and his sister-in-law Bernadette Kairo of Warrior Run, PA. He also leaves his 3 beloved grandchildren Tara Melendez and her husband Manny of Indian Orchard, Robert Jablonski of Chicopee and Lisa Jablonski of Springfield; 6 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Joseph will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. Burial will be in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will precede the service from 9:30-11:00 AM.
