Obituary

Jose A. Clemente Jr., 35, of Ludlow, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.  Born in Northampton on December 17, 1986, he was the son of Joseph Clemente and Monique (Hawkins) Stifter.  A graduate of Ludlow High School, Joe earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from WNEU.  He worked as an Aerospace Engineer for Pratt and Whitney.  Joe was a loving father, son, brother and friend to many.  His children were the lights of his life and his greatest joy was spending time with them.  Joe had a generous spirit and joy for life that touched everyone.

Joe is survived by his former wife Elizabeth (Kingston) Clemente of Holyoke, his children Michael, Lucas and Madison Clemente, all of Holyoke, his father Joseph Clemente of Portugal, his mother Monique Stifter of San Antonio, TX; his brother Benjamin Stifter; his sisters Kimberly Clemente and her partner Thera Ardelia-Alley and Heidi Stifter and his niece Cassandra Ardelia-Alley. He also leaves an aunt and many cousins.

Visiting hours for Joe will be Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 5:00-6:30 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 6:30 PM.  Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.
