John L. Durocher 70 of Ludlow died Friday July 5, 2013 at home. Born in Springfield, MA August 24, 1942 son of the late Francis R. and Florence (Laberge) Durocher. Educated in local schools, he was a self employed in the auto body business, and late was the owner operator of General Siding Company. John will be remembered as an avid sportsmen. He was a Communicant of the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth. He is survived by his daughter Charlotte Ann Durocher Guilbeault and son Dennis F. Durocher. Cherished grandfather of 3 granddaughters, Andre, Lea, and Lawrence all of Drummondville, Quebec, Canada. Also survived by his longtime friend Kathy James of Ludlow. He will be greatly missed by his fur kids Ozzie, Ozzie Bear and Baby Balouga. Sadly he was predecease by a brother Francis Bonneville. Also survived by extended family members and friends.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be Thursday July 13, 2013 at 8:30 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial Offered by the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth in St. John the Baptist Church 181 Hubbard St. Ludlow at 10 AM. Rites of committal will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
