John A. D’Angelo, 84, formerly of Ludlow, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Born in Springfield on May 14, 1936, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Trolio) D’Angelo. John was a 1953 graduate of the former Springfield Technical High School, a 1954 graduate of Cushing Academy and attended Springfield College. He went on to work as a sales rep for Seagram Corp and Williams Distributing. He loved sports and enjoyed wood working. He was a longtime member of the Springfield Boys and Girls Club.
John is survived by his children Dino D’Angelo (Brenda) of Ludlow; Daniel D’Angelo (Amy) of Feeding Hills; Aileen D’Angelo of Broken Arrow, OK; Laura Herring (Arthur) of Hampden and Ann Marie Zambo (Joseph) of Avon, CT. He also leaves his 8 beloved grandchildren Jason, Adam, Christopher, David, Jonathan, Amanda, Mary and Robert, as well as 5 great-grandchildren. Sadly he was predeceased by his wife Carol D’Angelo in 2003 and his grandson Nathan in 1999.
