Joaquim da Costa, 92 of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2016 surrounded by his family. Son of the late Jose and Maria (Anunciacao) da Costa, he was born in Lourinha, Portugal on February 21, 1924.
A longtime Ludlow resident, Joaquim worked as a construction worker for many years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Ludlow. Sadly he was predeceased by his wife Judite (Leal) da Costa. .
Joaquim is survived by three daughters Yvonne da Cruz, Isabel Branco and Maria Amelia all of Ludlow and a brother Guilherme da Costa of France. He also leaves six beloved grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
All services are private with burial to follow in Portugal.
