Jen was a valued colleague and friend. She always showed up early for work, bringing with her the ability to make anything funny and a big box of the most fabulous home-baked cookies. Jen baked the most delicious cookies and honored each one of us by making our favorites on request. We were so grateful when she joined the Energy Efficiency team at CMA, because she hit the ground running. She had a deep knowledge of energy efficiency programs and energy engineering, as well as amazing sense of how to analyze each complex problem that came to her, whether it was energy efficiency, engineering, math, or anything in between. Her ability to research, understand, interpret, and present solutions to contractors and businesses was unmatched. Across Massachusetts, Jen is highly regarded by energy efficiency program administrators for her expertise as an energy engineer. Prior to joining Columbia, she was a consultant who was well known because of her technical knowledge and her abilities as an expert witness. She mastered the inside baseball of energy efficiency: measurement and verification studies, benefit cost analysis, impact evaluation, modeling and audits. She had strong opinions and was not afraid to express them. Jen was dedicated and strived to help everyone. Jen will be sorely missed by her CMA energy efficiency team. She leaves a legacy of expertise, high quality service to customers and an infinite supply of humor. We already feel a big hole in our team without her.
Much love, Jen. You will be missed greatly. You created such an amazing and loving daughter, and I know she will live a long life that will make you a proud mama bear.
I miss you, Jen.
Jennifer was a wonderful person and it was an honor to have worked with her. I am so sorry for her loss.
