Jean Farraher was my teacher in grades 4-6 in Gloucester before she became principal of the Hovey School. She was a legend in her day, and teachers always spoke kindly of her, long after she retired from the profession. What a terrible loss. My heartfelt sentiments for her family. I will remember my godmother fondly and forever. She was one of a kind. I loved that her friendship with my mother went back to college days, and that we have the pictures to prove it! Always with a birthday card for myself and my children, as well as beautiful handwritten notes sent to my husband and I on our wedding anniversaries. I remember her driving out from Ludlow to share in a surprise party for my mom's 80th birthday a few years back. Prayers for all of your loved ones who are grieving. I love you Aunt Jean.
