Jane L. (LaBatt) Strout

Jane L. (LaBatt) Strout 97 of Ludlow died September 28, 2013 in a Chicopee nursing home. Born in Arlington, VT March 24, 1916, daughter of the late Maude (Adam) and Henry D. LaBatt. Educated in local Vermont Schools she was a 1934 graduate of Arlington, VT High School, and a 1936 graduate of Bay Path College. She had lived in this area for many years, and had worked for many years in the general office for the A&P Tea Company. She was a member of the First Church in Ludlow. She was also a member of the Disabled American Veteran’s Auxiliary Chapter 68. She was the widow of Kenneth H. Strout who died in 1986. She is survived by a step son Robert H. Strout and his wife Diane of Austin, TX and extended family members and friends.
