Obituary

Jane H. (Cieplinski) Ostrowski , 89, of Ludlow, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020. Born October 5, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Amelia (Cira) Ciepinski. A lifelong Ludlow resident, she was a graduate of Ludlow High School. Jane was always a hard worker, working at Buxton and Mass Mutual before her retirement. After retiring, she helped at the Double D Dairy Bar making her homemade golumpki and pierogi. She was a communicant of Christ the King Parish in Ludlow.

Jane is survived by her three sons William Ostrowski and his wife Joni of Sugarland, TX; Peter Ostrowski and his wife Lorri and Michael Ostrowski, both of Ludlow. She also leaves her 6 beloved grandchildren Erin Ruszala and her husband Andrew, Jerad Ostrowski, Alec Ostrowski, Michael Ostrowski Jr. and his wife Eponine, Christian Ostrowski and Stephen Ostrowski as well as her 4 great-grandchildren Brooke, Rylee and Logan Ruszala and Andreana Ostrowski.   Sadly she was predeceased by her husband Francis Ostrowski in 1986 and her siblings .

A Memorial Mass for Jane will be celebrated at a later date.

To all my Ostrowski cousins, I am truly sorry to learn of Jane's passing. I was blessed to be able to talk to her on the phone once, back in the 90's, when I started my genealogical research on this side of my family. She was wonderful to talk to, I learned so much from her in that one call, and I only regret that I never got to meet her in person.
