James H. Curtis, 84, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Son of the late Homer and Laura (Robinson) Curtis, he was born in Springfield, MA on April 15, 1932. A longtime Ludlow resident, James proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany after World War II. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
James his survived by children Gary Curtis of Ludlow, Christine Gaughran of Farmington, NH and Pamela Kelly, his brother Dr. Homer Curtis of Northbridge, MA and his sister Verna Charron of Ludlow, six grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his longtime companion Helen Hiersche in 2015
